		Associated Engineering Sciences, Inc. Named to American Council of Engineering Companies AESI Approved By Organization's Board of Directors (Hagerstown, MD Dec. 19, 2003) -- Hagerstown-based Associated Engineering Sciences, Inc. has been named as a full member of the American Council of Engineering Companies/Maryland. The civil and structural engineering firm was approved by the Board of Directors to full membership in December 2003. The American Council of Engineering Companies / Maryland (ACEC/MD), with headquarters in Baltimore, is a nonprofit association of multi-sized consulting engineering firms located throughout the state serving the public as well as private sectors. Member firms total approximately 4,000 employees and are responsible for the design of most of the area's infrastructure, environmental, and building construction. The organization focuses on the business aspects of the consulting engineering profession and is affiliated with the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), headquartered in Washington, D.C.
