		AESI's Reichenbaugh Named To United Way Leadership Position Reichenbaugh to Chair 2003 Annual Campaign (Hagerstown, MD March 20, 2003) 2002 was a successful year for the United Way of Washington County. This was despite a fall fund-raising campaign that fell just short of its goal, due to the nation's struggling economy. However, United Way agency officials announced that 2002 ranked as the third highest in the organization's history. At the organization's annual meeting in Hagerstown, it was announced that more than $1.6-Million was raised for the United Way's 21 member agencies. More money will go directly to charities because of organizational restructuring. United Way Executive Director James Taylor was able to cut the organization's fund-raising and administrative costs. The United Way of Washington County also announced that 2003's campaign will be more critical than ever before. With war concerns, and concerns about the economic downturn, non-profit agencies will need more help than ever before. New board officers and three new members - including Pamela J. Mills, Richard L. Reichenbaugh and Michael S. Zampelli - were elected. Officers include: Gary L. Wright, president. Spence W. Perry, vice president - administration. Christina L. Sandeen, vice president - agency relations. Richard L. Reichenbaugh, vice president - resource development. Alfred E. Martin, treasurer. Howard S. Kaylor, secretary. Rich Reichenbaugh, vice president and principal of Associated Engineering Sciences Inc., is the 2003 campaign chairman. Reichenbaugh said, "The critical importance of the United Way to our community cannot be overstated. The upcoming 2003 United Way campaign will be a record-setter, and I'm proud that our company is involved in this significant effort.
